At Ecocur, we are always looking to innovate and deliver solutions that not only benefit our customers but also care for the environment. Today we want to share an inspiring project that shows how discarded tires can have a second useful life.

The Challenge of Tire Recycling

Every year, millions of tires are discarded, creating a significant environmental challenge because of their tough composition and slow degradation. However, an innovative initiative has found an effective way to turn this problem into an opportunity.

From Tires to Rubber Tiles

Through a recycling process, tires are turned into rubber tiles, a versatile and durable product that can be used in a variety of applications. These tiles are especially valued in areas where safety is a priority, such as playgrounds and gyms, thanks to their ability to cushion impacts.

Environmental and Economic Benefits

Tire recycling not only reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills but also lowers the need to produce new materials. This translates into lower consumption of natural resources and a reduction in the carbon emissions associated with manufacturing traditional products.

In addition, the process of making rubber tiles creates jobs and promotes the circular economy, delivering economic benefits to local communities.

Ecocur and Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Ecocur, we are committed to finding solutions that enable sustainable development. Projects like recycling tires into rubber tiles are an example of how a problem can be turned into a solution that benefits everyone.
